Crafting Interpreters Book Study Club

Andrew Magerman did it again! On January 9th, we kicked off a new Book Study Club—this time diving into Robert Nystrom’s Crafting Interpreters. Every two weeks, participants will gather online to discuss chapter by chapter, exploring the intricacies of building interpreters from the ground up.

SoCraTes Day Switzerland 2024

We hosted the 2024 Zürich edition of Socrates Day (Software Craft and Testing), an international conference. It is an annually occurring unconference where developers, admins and testers meet up and spontaneously organize themselves into discussion groups.

Global Day of Coderetreat 2023

On November 18th, Andrew Magerman hosted the Global Day of Coderetreat (GDCR) 2023 at Ergon, and it was a total success! So in the second session we took TDD Back to Basics and after watching and discussing the Roman Numerals Kata we went to create a Price Engine for our Cinema Paradiso. And we found that with TDD The Flow is hard to get into, so that’s what we’ll do next. And then I forgot to take a screenshot while we were 16 so here’s only one from the latter part of the session.
